When you find out you have been converted to a regular employee (you know, the kind who has a job indefinitely instead of a looming 'end date') and no one you call to share the news with answers their phones!!!

I knew all you ladies would cheer for me, but I also knew you read my blog :-) For some reason, my family doesn't...ok, maybe they have good reason, but whatever.
The Ball is TONIGHT! I did go to work this morning but I had only two calls, 30 minutes apart, so they sent me home, which is good, as I bought fabric yesterday and...yes, I am going to make a ball gown in, let's see...about nine hours! Anyone who wants to bring chick flicks, chocolate, and their sewing machine is welcome...

Well, I did not get the dress finished, but I looked nice, I went and I had fun. It was very loud.
